A 3-year-old disappeared when her parents were both sleeping.
The girl went chasing after their recently adopted rescue dog as he ran off the property.
Local residents saw the two alone and called police, who scanned the dog for a microchip.
The chip provided them the information they needed to return the girl and dog back home.
The dog, named Angel, never left the girl’s side.
So sweet! We’re glad everything worked out in the end!
