Rose McGowan has certainly made some lovely new animal friends!
The actress was recently photographed while she spent the day at The Gentle Barn in Santa Clarita, which is a rescue home for 130 farm animals that have been subjected to severe abuse, neglect, or slaughter, and once they’re recovered, they help treat and heal children who also have suffered from abuse!
Ch-ch-check her out with the gorgeous cow Buttercup, who, after losing her own calf at seven months, now nurtures other baby cows rescued by the farm (above)!
Wow.
We’re incredibly moved to hear that this place not only helps animals in desperate need of it, but promotes a kind of lovely ‘pay it forward’ attitude with them – so they can come to the aid of young people and help them heal in ways that might not ordinarily be available to them!
