An unnaturally enormous cow has proven that size not only matters, but it can keep you a-livestock forever.
Standing at 6’3 and weighing over 3k pounds, Knickers (pictured above; we shouldn’t have to tell you which one) is “unofficially” Australia’s biggest steer. Sure, he looks a little self-conscious among the normal sized cows… but he won’t be for long.
Because while the 7-year-old’s size may have made him stick out from the heard, it’s also saving him from turning into ground beef.

Cattle farmer Geoff Pearson revealed that Knickers is too big to go through the slaughterhouse, telling Australia’s Sunday Times:
“It was too heavy. I wouldn’t be able to put it through a processing facility. So I think it will just live happily ever after.”
Instead, Knickers was sold for $400 as a “coach,” an animal that can take charge of the herd and show them the ropes of farm life.
A happy ending — no spider’s web needed!
