Oh no! Don’t be embarrassed, Uggie!
Contrary to most reports, (even from us) Uggie the wonder dog from The Artist will not be performing in a sketch with Billy Crystal at the Oscars.
A spokesperson for The Weinstein Company, distributors of The Artist said:
“Uggie has not been asked to participate or appear at the Oscars.”
So now it looks like Uggie won’t even be walking the red carpet!!
We’re so upset.
We were soooo looking forward to seeing his cute little face strut that red carpet.
We can only hope there will be a surprise Uggie performance or maybe someone will sneak him into the Oscars in a large handbag.
