Battleship Director Went To EXTREME Lengths To Protect RiRi From Shark Attacks!

Peter Berg may have been paranoid…but Rihanna is safe and sound because of it!
The Battleship director took extra precaution to protect the singer from shark attacks.
Yep, that’s right…SHARK ATTACKS!
Filming took place on the coasts of Hawaii and Berg said the following about his safety measures:

My biggest challenge was making sure Rihanna never got eaten by a shark.
My fear was that I would be the director that allowed Rihanna to be eaten by a shark. So I was very careful – when she was in the water I had men around her and they were (to make a gesture) if they saw one.

That’s one way to make your film debut…
