The Cannes Film Festival is going to the Dogs!!!
Aside from acknowledging human superstars, the festival unofficially honored the top K-9 to bark up the big screen with the Palm Dog Award on Friday!!!
Last year’s prize winner Uggie, also went on to superpupdom in The Artist.
Winning the top prize this year was an adorable dog named…SMURF!!!
According to judges, Smurf’s performance in the film Sightseers was magnifieuqe !!!
Besides bragging barking rights, the celeb pooch will receive a blinged out diamante collar and a trophy decked out with the Union Jack in honor of the diamond jubilee of Britain’s Queen Elizabeth II!!!
Now isn’t that pawfect?!!
