Cali Surfer Killed By Shark Attack

A SoCal surfer has been killed by a shark bite while surfing at Surf Beach.
Francisco Solorio Jr. was bitten in the torso while surfing on the public beach off of Vandenberg Air Force Base, north of Santa Barbara.
Solorio’s attack marks the second in two years at the same beach. The scariest part: Solorio’s attack was exactly two years later, as the previous attack was on October 22 2010.
A friend pulled Solorio out of the water and performed CPR to no avail. Authorities will survey Solorio’s surfboard to analyze the bite marks on the board.
