Sacre bleu!
Our precious French-Canadian treasure, C├â┬⌐line Dion, is sick with the flu and things are so bad, she’s been forced to cancel three of her sold-out Vegas shows!
Her doctor has ordered the My Heart Will Go On singer to stay on bed rest after she developed complications from a recent bout with the nasty illness.
And to make things official, her reps posted this statement on C├â┬⌐line’s website:
“After recovering from the flu last week, C├â┬⌐line developed a secondary infection (sinusitis) which is being treated with antibiotics and anti-inflammatory medicine. Her doctor has instructed her to rest for a period of 7 consecutive days in order for her to fully recover.”
Luckily, her management team is confident she’ll be rested up and ready to go in time for next week’s shows, beginning on Feb. 26.
As for now, her shows through Friday of this week will be cancelled. More information can be found on her website HERE!
Such a disappointment to her fans who flew thousands of miles to see C├â┬⌐line, but if our divalicious lady says she’s sick then the only thing we can worry about is protecting that sweet, melodic voice of hers!
Get better, Miz Dion! We believe in the Power of Love!!
