It’s been a long and challenging six years for the French-Canadian superstar since her last tour, which spanned 2019 and 2020. She was set to return to the stage in 2023 and 2024 for another tour, but had to cancel EVERYTHING after battling Stiff Person Syndrome, “a rare autoimmune neurological disorder that most commonly causes muscle stiffness and painful spasms that come and go and can worsen over time,” according to Johns Hopkins Medicine. Furthermore, French outlet La Presse reported Céline is set to perform at Paris La Défense Arena in Nanterre later this year across multiple weeks come September and October.
The powerhouse singer further fueled speculation on Monday when she shared a series of photos of herself in Paris throughout the years and wrote:
“I don’t know how to tell you…”
