A violent home invasion has left a family’s beloved pet dog dead. Police are investigating what happened and hope to find the people responsible for this terrible tragedy.
A little before 5 in the morning, police were called to the address on the 500 block of 68 Street N.E..
Officers say “several” suspects entered a home highly armed, and were ready to kill.
The family dog acted heroically and tried to protect its family from the malicious burglars, but was killed.
Police are not sure, but it is possible the dog bit one of the suspects before it was murdered.
Police are asking anyone who knows anything about this incident to call immediately.
So sad for the doggy.
At least it died a hero’s death.
