The reign of Justin Timberlake continues!
The 20/20 Experience is still proving to be a HUGE success and has defended its number 1 spot on the Billboard 200 chart for the second straight week!
JT is facing some stiff competition as Lil Wayne, OneRepublic, Depeche Mode, and The Strokes all recently released albums that placed in the top 10, but none of them could dethrone the king!
Weezy’s album I Am Not a Human Being II came in at second, but the gap was pretty big as the as the rapper was more than 100,000 sales short of the top spot.
Justin’s numbers slipped a bit after a BIG opening week, but he has still managed to sell 1.29 million copies, making it the first and only album of 2013 to hit the 1 million mark!
Even with all of the early success, the singer still has a big year ahead of him as he prepares to hit the road with Jay-Z and release a follow-up to The 20/20 Experience.
We think it’s safe to say that 2013 will be remembered as the year of JT!
