Aren’t we DONE with this Cold War era type of consciousness?!
Former Clueless actress Stacey Dash is very politically opinionated — she was a HUGE advocate for Mitt Romney during the 2012 presidential elections — so we weren’t shocked that girl took to Twitter recently to comment on Beyonc├â┬⌐ and Jay-Z‘s anniversary trip to Cuba…
And unsurprisingly, Stacey does NOT approve.
Mz. Dash tweeted:

Hmm, we’re prettyyyy sure that is NOT what Lady Bey and her manz were doing at all!
In fact, the US government has deemed the Grown Woman AKA Bey’s trip as a “cultural” visit!
And despite what people may believe about Cuba and its current (and past) political situation, the fact is Communism is an extremely complex, debated political ideology that fundamentally is not oppressive.
Even so, Cuba may be considered an oppressive state by some, but should that stop people from visiting the country, which in turn broadens their worldview and exposes them to OTHER societies and cultures?
Is expanding one’s mind now considered a BAD thing?! Goodness, we HOPE not! That WOULD be quite oppressive! LOLz.
