Sorry, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry! Just because your friends are invited, doesn’t mean you can be there, too!
News Nation reported on Thursday that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been snubbed for the upcoming Met Gala and have not received an invitation — despite the fact their pal Beyoncé is co-hosting this year, as well as Venus Williams, sister of Meg’s pal Serena Williams. No luck for the royals!
Not only that, Anna Wintour herself is not interested in Mz. Markle at all. A source told the outlet:
“People are just kind of over her. She sucks the air out of every room and makes it about herself. Anna does not want that.”
BRUTAL!
And Anna isn’t the only one who doesn’t like how Meghan and Harry “somehow make everything about themselves.” Pierpaolo Piccioli is still annoyed after she somehow ended up inviting herself to his Balenciaga show in Paris last year and reportedly showed up late and posed “as if she was the star”:
“It was ridiculous.”

Sounds like Meghan has burned a lot of bridges in the fashion world… A second fashion source snapped:
“She’s got one month to try and wrangle an appearance. Good luck.”
You guys, the internet is absolutely clowning on Meghan and Harry right now! After this news came out, social media was set ablaze. Some wrote on Reddit:
“Meghan is friends with Beyoncé but Beyoncé is not friends with Meghan, that’s how I see it. My question is, will she EVER get invited?”
“I’ve never heard of anyone with so many ‘best friends’ as Markle claims to have.”
