Those who filled the public galleries of the courtroom to witness Parliament vote to permit same-sex marriage in a 77 to 44 vote were so excited that they burst into song!
The crowd sang New Zealand’s indigenous song Pokarekare Ana to serenade the bill’s brave sponsor, lesbian Louisa Wall.
