Minnesota State Senators warmed our hearts today by passing a measure allowing same-sex couples to marry!
The Land of 10,000 Lakes lawmakers voted 37 to 30 in favor, and the Governor is expected to sign it into law tomorrow!! Better late than never!!
State Senator John Marty, a democrat, was pleased as punch by the result.
He said:
├óΓé¼┼ôThese families deserve the same rights and recognitions that we do. It├óΓé¼Γäós finally happening.”
We agree 100% and we couldn’t be more thrilled!!
Minnesota, the birth place of Prince, becomes the 12th state in the Union to take this grand step toward LGBT equality!
Now everyone can purify themselves in the waters of Lake Minnetonka regardless of sexual orientation, LOLz!!
Twelve states down, 38 to go!!
