Restaurant owners Amy and Samy Bouzaglo have been getting a TON of publicity ever since Amy’s Baking Company made an appearance on Kitchen Nightmares, but it’s probably not the press they were hoping for!
When Gordon Ramsay swung by the small time eatery in Scottsdale, Arizona, he had such a hard time working with the owners that he WALKED OUT on them and completely refused to help out!
Well the episode eventually aired and websites like Facebook, Yelp, and Reddit ERUPTED with posts on the owners’ erratic behavior, and Samy and Amy only made things worse when they responded to commenters with threats and ugly words that aren’t exactly appropriate for virgin eyes!
Luckily, the two have found a few fans out there when a Facebook page called I Love Amy’s Baking Co. mysteriously appeared out of thin air! But people on the interwebs quickly became suspicious and some even believe they created it themselves!
A source close to the two says Amy STILL responds to negative commenters regularly:
“Even though Amy and Samy claim their accounts have been hacked, Amy is still always online posting new things and responding to all and every hater that she possibly can. Amy├óΓé¼Γäós close to a nervous breakdown because of all this online stuff, which she calls ├óΓé¼╦£cyber bullying,├óΓé¼Γäó but she├óΓé¼Γäós only making it worse by engaging. From what I├óΓé¼Γäóve seen on these fan pages it definitely looks like they├óΓé¼Γäóre ran by Amy.”
Yikes! That is NOT healthy, girl!!
The two have reportedly hired the help of a PR firm to help them with their far-too-public relations, and apparently they’re planning on a grand re-opening next week to help rebuild their image.
In the meantime, it sounds like they might want to stay away from Facebook for a little while a focus on things bakery owners should focus on. Like baking. LOLz!
