The effects of Paris Jackson‘s suicide attempt are far reaching, and she is on the minds of a lot of people on the planet right now while she recovers in a hospital in Calabasas. We’ve heard the world’s reactions, but we haven’t seen much from those close to her — without a filter of a lawyer or rep.
We’re hearing now that her brother, Prince Jackson, has canceled an appearance on German TV. A close friend of Paris has also opened up on Twitter.
Prince was scheduled to appear on the network ZDF’s show Wetten, dass …? (Wanna Bet?). He has not made that trip to Europe, and for good reason. His sister needs him more than German TV does!
Here’s what the ZDF rep said:
“Under these circumstances, we perfectly understand that Prince Michael prefers to stay close to his family. We wish Paris the strength and the power to recover soon.”
We’re so glad they’re handling it that way!
Close to home, Sophie Jastrow — a friend of Paris’s — went on twitter to write that she’s:
‘so f***in sad right now… [literally] shaking right now…literally i cant even focus.’
We hope that one of the things that comes from such an awful and sad situation is that Paris will come through it seeing how many people out there care about her, including us!
