Jenelle Evans has a positive update about her son!
As we’re sure you know, Jace Evans was just 16 when he had a very deeply unsettling incident with his mental health. He was placed in a mental health facility after his grandmother Barbara called the police, and ever since then we’ve been getting sparse updates as he healed.
On Wednesday, as reported by The Ashley’s Reality Roundup, the now 17-year-old had made his first post to Instagram in a very long time. Seeing the photo he posted of a laptop got fans wondering, and now Jenelle is sharing with Us Weekly that Jace is actually back home now.
She revealed on Thursday:
“Jace is back at my mom’s at the moment and isn’t coming to live with me because my mother and I have mutually agreed upon his living situation and circumstances.”

The Teen Mom star immediately set the story straight, too, making sure everyone knew David Eason had NOTHING to do with this:
“[My friend] Dawson had to pick up Jace for me because I have knee problems, had surgery and now am diagnosed with CRPS so I couldn’t physically travel and still can’t. This has nothing to do with David at all. Jace wants to be around his friends and is now working at his job again he once had. I’m really happy all parties can come together for my son and finally agree on something.”
