Who doesn’t love a lady who just goes for it?
We’re certainly on board with that especially when it results in something HIGHlarious!
And we’re not the only ones because Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCarthy not only love that trait, but they fell for each other because of it!
The two ladiez will have us all cracking up this summer with their new flick, The Heat, and it sounds like this awesomesauce pairing was a long time coming.
While chatting with Parade magazine, Sandra revealed what made Melissa such a star on the set:
“The first week I was like, ├óΓé¼╦£What is she doing? That├óΓé¼Γäós not in the script.├óΓé¼Γäó I was the lone actor, jack-of-one-trade, in a room full of improv actors and stand-up comedians. I mean, you should just listen to the stuff that comes out of her mouth.”
Even though Sandra didn’t give herself much credit, Melissa was confident in her costar’s comedy chops long before they worked together!
She said:
“Before I knew you├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥don├óΓé¼Γäót listen, I don├óΓé¼Γäót want you to get cocky├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥I was asked in an interview who I thought was funny, and I said you├óΓé¼┬ªI love to watch someone who just goes for it and isn├óΓé¼Γäót worried about whether it├óΓé¼Γäós silly or awkward or unflattering.”
And you’ve got to admit, these ladiez can bring it when it comes to slapstick.
