According to Variety on Thursday, a Clueless sequel series had been in development at Peacock in early 2025. By April, however, the show was no longer continuing with the streamer.
Don’t start buggin’, though! It’s still happening! In fact, it has now found a new home with Paramount+! And yes, Alicia Silverstone is still set to reprise her iconic role!

Sources told Variety that the streaming service greenlit six episodes for the project, which will begin production in Los Angeles in 2027. How exciting!
And, yes, Alicia has already reacted to the news. The actress took to Instagram on Thursday to post a screenshot of the announcement, along with a GIF from the movie. In the caption, she dropped a heart-eyed and yellow heart emoji. Ch-ch-check it out (below):
