Aaron Sorkin is going from The West Wing to West Side Story!
The Newsroom scribe was asked in a recent interview whether he would ever write dancing into one of his scripts, and he almost let the Cats out of the bag! He said:
“Well, I’m going to be doing a Broadway musical, and there will be plenty of extended dance sequences.”
Wha?? But he disappeared from Houdini! What’s he working on now? He said:
“I’m going to tell you… just when we’re allowed to announce it. You’ll be the first to know. I can’t say anything else about it, though.”
Agh! What a tease! This is just like on Sports Night when Casey and Dana almost got together but then didn’t at the last minute for like no reason!

Anyway, it shouldn’t be too much of a leap for Aaron! A big song-and-dance is just like a walk-and-talk, only awesomer!
