Whitney Leavitt is saying goodbye to The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives!
In a video obtained by TMZ on Sunday night, Whitney closed out her run on Broadway‘s Chicago by announcing she’s exiting the Hulu reality show that made her super famous! OMG! While still in character, the actress pointed to a piece of paper and said:
“Oh, erm, what is that? Let me see. Whitney Leavitt announces she’s leaving The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.”
The news earned a wild round of cheers and applause from the audience.

She’s actually left the show in the past, but returned in order to secure a spot on Dancing with the Stars, a plot point of a previous season. So, is this the end for good? It’s hard to know.
That said, according to Whit, she’s walking away from the drama before cameras return to filming following a production pause amid the domestic violence scandal between Taylor Frankie Paul and Dakota Mortensen. It’s unclear why she’s deciding to part ways with the show. Aside from the Broadway bombshell, Whitney has not yet commented further on the exit.
