The proverbial s**t has hit the fan for Paula Deen, but she won’t let that get her down!
Walmart, Target, and Food Network all severed their super-lucrative ties with the Southern chef since her history of racist comments became public, but her spirits are still high!
After issuing a teary-eyed quasi-apology/denial to Matt Lauer on Today, Paula is super appreciative of her fans who overlooked her casual use of the N-word and burning desire for a plantation-style wedding where the help dresses like slaves.
She says she never realized it would offend anyone!! Uhhh…. moving on.
On Facebook today, she said:
“I want to take another moment to thank the outpouring of support from my family, friends and fans. Your kindness has warmed my heart in a way that words cannot express the last couple of days.

We’re glad the kindness of others is helping Paula cope, but she’s not the one we’re most worried about.
Our hearts really go out to those who were victimized by the TV star’s racist words and behavior!
