This is just so sad!!!
Charlotte Brosnan, adopted daughter of former James Bond actor Pierce Brosnan, died on Friday.
The 41-year-old mother of two succumbed to ovarian cancer after fighting courageously against the horrible illness for three years.
Pierce released this statement:
“On June 28 at 2 p.m. my darling daughter Charlotte Emily passed on to eternal life, having succumbed to ovarian cancer. She was surrounded by her husband Alex, her children Isabella and Lucas and her brothers Christopher and Sean. Charlotte fought her cancer with grace and humanity, courage and dignity. Our hearts are heavy with the loss of our beautiful dear girl. We pray for her and that the cure for this wretched disease will be close at hand soon. We thank everyone for their heartfelt condolences.”
Ugh!!! She was taken from her friends and family far too soon!!
Our sincerest thoughts and well wishes go out to Charlotte’s children, surviving husband, father, and everyone else affected by this awful tragedy.
Ovarian cancer is the same disease that killed her mother and Pierce’s first wife Cassandra Harris in 1991.
