We already told you what went into Matt Damon‘s rock-hard body transformation for Elysium a few months ago, but we never really got a sense of how difficult his routine was to maintain!
So how easy was it?
Matt revealed:
“It was really hard because I love to eat and drink! It’s very hard to motivate me to get in shape.”
We hear that!! Apparently it was the character sketches that motivated him:
“I went okay, this is definitely worth it!”
According to the trailer (above), we would say it’s definitely worth it! Hot damn, Matt! LOLz!
It’s great that he’s all about it when it comes to work — but his wife, how does SHE feel about it all?? He continued:
“I think she likes the variety. When I did The Informant, I put on 40 lbs. and I was like, ‘You kind of like this guy too?’ I’m trying to talk her into [liking] that guy because that’s the guy I’m most comfortable being. I’m at the point in my life where somebody was silly enough to marry me and won’t leave me if I put on a few pounds!”
Adorable!
They’re definitely one of the most solid couples in Hollywood, and one of our favorites! It’s just so nice to see a relationship without all the usual celeb drama — even though we can’t get enough of that kind of juice too!
