To hellz with Shark Week, 2013 is Shark YEAR!

And no one loves sharks as much as Sharknado star Tara Reid!

Tara dropped by Discovery Channel’s special live, late-night talk show Shark After Dark to discuss her favorite ferocious sea creatures. And she totes did some research prior to her appearance!

Tara taught everyone in the audience a lesson about sharks mating with whales in order to spawn whale sharks. Because├óΓé¼┬ªyeah, that’s how that happens, right?

Shark + whale = whale shark.

Her Sharknado co-star Ian Ziering was also on the show and asked her how a tiger shark was conceived.

Duh, Ian! It’s when a tiger falls in love with a shark!

Same as when a registered nurse knocks knobs with a shark – you get a nurse shark.

Or when a hammer gets freaky deeky and bangs a shark – hammerhead shark.

Or if an angel comes down from heaven for some seksi time with a Great White – angel shark.

This is just simple marine biology here!
