Dunmore, Pennsylvania teen and One Direction fan Kelcey Hallinan has been battling Hodgkin lymphoma since December 2011. So to try an lift her spirits, her friends started a social media campaign to try and get Harry Styles‘ attention!
The support was overwhelming, and soon her fellow Directioners helped get the hashtag #HarryTweetKelcey trending on Twitter! Well the plan worked, but the good news didn’t even come close to stopping there!
The Make-A-Wish had previously been involved and approved her request to meet her favorite band, however, at the time she was too sick to meet them in person. So instead, they were able set up a Skype date between Harry and Kelcey on Monday!!
After their meeting, the One Direction heartthrob also sent a little message her way via Twitter and wrote:
Hi @kelceyhal it's nice to 'meet' you. I'm thinking about you.. And sending you all my love. H .xx

Awwww! How Sweet!
Kelcey’s mother says her spirits have been incredibly high since their meeting:
“For one afternoon, Kelcey didn’t have to think about being sick. She was just really happy.”
Seriously, can someone get us some tissues over here?!
And the support didn’t stop there, as other celebs such as Jason Mraz and Kim Kardashian sent her messages of love!
It’s so heartwarming to see people going out of their way, just to make someone’s day a little bit brighter, and we gotta give Harry HUGE props for making Kelcey’s wish come true!!
