She’s just being Miley!
After canceling his last appearance on Piers Morgan Live, Billy Ray Cyrus sat down with the talk show host and discussed, amongst other things, his daughter Miley Cyrus. Obvi!
And basically, as expected, the controversial young lady can do no wrong in his eyes! After all, he did defend the nudity in her Wrecking Ball music vid.
Coming to his baby’s defense, the proud papa said:
“It gets even stranger when that little girl becomes a young lady. I’m her daddy. I come for that school of as a singer-songwriter, as a musician, that it starts with a song. And it’s that magic moment when a song finds the right artist, the right singer, and it becomes a synchronicity of that moment in time. Miley harnessed into something very special. She’s just Miley. She’s an artist, she’s real. I think that’s what’s happened over the years, Miley has been reinventing her sound. She’s evolving as an artist herself. I think that it’s all of what everyone is calling controversy now. That’s still my Miley.”
We’d much rather see Billy Ray defend his little girl than throw her under the bus, so we don’t mind Billy Ray pretending not to notice Miley’s actions.
But Billy Ray is right! She definitely has evolved from how she was a few years ago.
