Uh oh. The Cyrus family feud is alive and well…
Miley Cyrus and her momma Tish — who were once BFFs — are now reportedly battling it out over Billy Ray! As Perezcious readers know, ever since the Cyrus parents split, the family has been torn apart with the kids forced to take sides.
Initially, the pop star was very much Team Tish and was open about her complicated relationship to Billy Ray. But recently, she made a public show of support for her dad by including him in the Hannah Montana 20th anniversary special. Apparently, she’s been working behind the scenes to bring the Achy Breaky Heart star back into the family fold — and the matriarch ain’t happy about it! A source spilled the tea to Radar Online on Tuesday:
“Tish is very hateful toward Billy Ray. She says he’s a total con man and a scumbag, who’s messed up countless lives through his own selfishness, cruelty and narcissism.”

They added:
“She doesn’t understand why Miley’s so blind to it.”
Oof. There’s obviously still a lot of bad blood between the exes!!
Now, sources say the singer-songwriter, who is currently dating Elizabeth Hurley, is eager to make amends with his family, and Miles is helping him. A confidant elaborated:
“Tish’s view is that what he’s done in the past is unforgivable; she wants no part of him. She’s finally with a life partner who treats her right and is a kind-hearted gentleman who doesn’t go out of his way to hurt others like Billy Ray did.”
And it’s working. Noah Cyrus and her brother Braison Cyrus are also supportive of the reconciliation. Unfortunately, it’s not something Tish will EVER get on board with, though!
“There’s a lot of resentment and tension. Miley and Tish are butting heads — big-time. Both of them are really digging in.”
Oh, no…
We can understand Tish being hesitant about Billy Ray. They divorced for a reason, after all! But is it too much to ask for the kids to have a pleasant relationship with both of their parents?! This constant drama has got to be exhausting for them all!
