Oh noes!!! The curtain was pulled back on Oz, and he isn’t wearing pants!
A copy of a Real Housewives release form/confidentiality contract is circulating the interwebs, and it pretty much tells us everything we already knew (and a few things we didn’t)!
One of the more outrageous portions of the contract explicitly refers to fictionalization stories!!! It states:
“The rights granted herein shall also include the right to edit, delete, dub and fictionalize the Footage and Materials, the Program and the Advertisements as Producer sees fit in Producer’s sole discretion,” the opening clause in the contract reads.
Whoa! That means Real Housewives producers can edit the footage HOWEVER THEY WANT!!
This revelation is about as stunning as… oh, wait — everyone already knows reality TV is faker than a RHONJ tan!!
As much as we’d love to grab a pitchfork and storm the castle, we doubt too many are surprised!!
We watch reality TV because for outrageous drama and fabulous characters, but no one really believes it’s 100% genuine, rich?t
More distressing is the indication that many of the show’s stars might not be paid at all. Persons signing the contract we stumbled across apparently consent to “waive any and all rights I may have to any compensation whatsoever.├óΓé¼┬¥
Yikes!! That could be bad for business!
This might not sound like a document most folks would sign, but by now we all know our housewives are NOT like most folks, LOLz!!
