Taylor Swift Meets With A 7-Year-Old Fan Who Was Hit By A Car Going To Her Concert!

Look at this do-gooder! If more people cared as much as Taylor Swift, this world would be a better place!

You may not know this, but Swifty took time out before one of her summer concerts to meet with 7-year-old Grace Markel. The little girl was hit by an SUV while she was walking to the singer’s concert on August 10th.

She got out of a taxi with her dad, and was hit by an uninsured driver with a suspended license, while going about 30MPH.

After making a recovery from her severe injuries, which included two skull fractures, multiple cuts on her head, a concussion and road rash, the girl’s parents got her tickets to another concert!

Then the magic happened!

At the September 21st concert in Nashville, Swifty invited the family backstage before the show! The mother, Amy Markel, described it:

├óΓé¼┼ôTaylor greeted Grace by her name and immediately knelt down and hugged her. She told Grace she had a cold and asked Grace to sing extra loud to help her out├óΓé¼┬ª Taylor’s mother told Grace she was so sorry about what happened to her, and she gave me a hug saying she sympathized with what we’d been through. It was so surreal and amazing├óΓé¼┬ª [The meeting] was just a warm and genuine exchange that made it feel like time has stopped, and it was just the two of them.├óΓé¼┬¥

Aww!

And then the country cutie signed the sleeve of the Taylor Swift shirt Grace was wearing and posed for photos.

As for Grace, she said Taylor was “nice and tall and pretty.”

That’s how we’d describe her too!

We’re just glad that this AH-Mayzing young girl was able to see her favorite singer and overcame such an awful set of injuries.
