One Direction Goes POP At The MTV EMA Awards! Wins Big Against Competition For Best Pop Artist!

Whoa! That was a close!
There was some pret-ty heavy competition for the award of Best Pop Artist at the MTV EMAs, but in the end the honor went to….
..yup, that’s right! One Direction, despite their absence, beat out Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus, and Taylor Swift.
We’re not surprised the boys with all their Directioners scored the award, but how cray cray that they topped all these hot artists…even the queen Mileybird herself!
We wonder if Harry Styles‘ Miley costume helped them to edge out the competition. LOLz!
