Kate Hudson and her fianc├â┬⌐ Matthew Bellamy had a wedding at their house, but it wasn’t their own…yet!
Kate hosted the ceremony for Matthew’s close friend and Muse media manager, Thomas Kirk, and his bride-to-be, Jaclyn Ferber.
According to a source, the wedding was held in Kate’s front lawn, which was bestrewn with bistro chairs, and a white wood plank aisle.
Not to say that getting married is like walking the plank! Although a wedding on a pirate ship would be pretty ARRmazing.
After the ceremony, which was done by candlelight, guests got cocktails in the backyard before eating dinner on wooden farm tables! There was even a “Tee-Pee” lounge (a tent complete with pillows and blankets and a possibly culturally insensitive name) and a photo booth!
Aw we hope Thomas and Jaclyn had a wonderful wedding, and that Kate jotted down some notes for her own ceremonial tying of the knot, whenever that will be!
We assume doing the film Bride Wars might have made her cautious to not schedule her wedding as her best friend! LOL!
