Listen up, gentlemen! It’s going to take more than just a few dates before Taylor Swift will write a song about you!
TayTay has, of course, sang her heart out about exes Jake Gyllenhaal, John Mayer, Joe Jonas and Taylor Lautner. But she didn’t pen any of those lyrics until after their love blossomed, or in most cases, died.
Swifty spilled on the prereqs to getting on her records, saying:
“I only write songs about crazy love. If I go on two dates with a guy and we don’t click, I’m not writing a song about that. It didn’t matter in the emotional grand scheme of things.├óΓé¼┬¥
So far, the 23-year-old pop princess has had a never-ending well of song inspiration. But there are only so many boys and breakups that one girl can endure! And according to Taylor, she’s in constant fear of that well drying up! She explained:
“I worry about everything. Some days I wake up in a mind-set of, like, ‘Okay it’s been a good run.’ By afternoon, I could have a change of mood and feel like anything is possible and I can’t wait to make this kind of music I’ve never made before. And then by evening, I could be terrified of the whole thing again. And then at night, I’ll write a song before bed.├óΓé¼┬¥
