This is a fantastic tradition!!!
At a Calgary Hitmen game over the weekend, 25,921 teddy bears were thrown onto the ice after they scored a goal.
It’s called a “Teddy Bear Toss!”
This is becoming more popular among minor league teams, as a promotion, and it should be for every team EVER!
When the home team scores their first goal, everyone in the crowd throws teddy bears into the rink, which are then gathered up and given to needy families and children.
Fantastic!!!
And also it looks pretty magical!!!
