We must have bought several vowels, because we just sighed “oooooooh no” after watching Wheel of MisFortune.
Wheel of Fortune aired an episode last night in which an answer to one of the puzzles was The Fast and the Furious, just days after the death of Paul Walker.
There are not enough facepalms in the world for us to do right now.
In the show’s defense, the episode was taped a couple of weeks ago, which producers addressed in a scrawl they wrote at the top of the screen when it aired:
“This episode was taped a few weeks ago, prior to the tragic passing of “The Fast and the Furious” actor Paul Walker.”
Meanwhile Pat Sajak tweeted out his regrets about the blunder:

While we understand that it was a thoughtless error, shouldn’t they have just pulled the episode?
We wonder how the show will try to spin this story in the upcoming days…
