This is scary!
Last Monday a 16-month-old girl had to undergo surgery to have a GROWING dandelion removed from her ear canal!
The dandelion had roots that were latched onto the toddler’s ear canal.
The parents said a seed had fallen into the little girl’s ear about four months ago, but didn’t think anything of it until their daughter started to scratch at her ear and couldn’t stop!
The couple went from Beijing to take their daughter to the Capital Institute of Pediatrics for an ear, nose, and throat specialist who found the growing dandelion inside the daughter’s ear!!!
Once the diagnosis was set – the surgeon admitted the removal was NOT easy!
Here’s what the surgeon said:
“The dandelion seed was tenacious and not easy to remove.”
Wow!
So bizarre!
Luckily, after about ten minutes, the dandelion was removed.
Hopefully the little girl’s ear isn’t damaged, and no flowers will ever think about growing in there again!
