The king of country is hitting the road!
Grab your cowboy hats and giddy up because Garth Brooks has just announced he’ll be going on a world tour very soon!
The singer announced he was taking a break from touring in 2000 as he wanted to wait until his children were grown up to travel for music again, and finally that time has come!
He appeared on Good Morning America this week to break the exciting news to his fans:
“You know what, since it├óΓé¼Γäós you and since we├óΓé¼Γäóve had a history forever, let├óΓé¼Γäós announce it. We├óΓé¼Γäóre going on a world tour in 2014 … Our baby is a senior in high school. We talked about it, all my babies are fine with it. Miss [Trisha] Yearwood is fine with it. So now I get to do what I love to do, which is play music.”
And we’re sure his fans are happy he’s gotten the seal of approval from his family to get back out there!
We don’t have official dates yet, but no doubt he’ll try to hit as many places as possible!
