US Air Force Master Sergeant Joseph Martel returned home early after being deployed for months in Afghanistan. He and his wife kept his homecoming a secret from their son though, in order to properly surprise him!
Dressed in the opposing team’s uniform, Sgt. Martel watched his son’s football game in disguise from the sidelines.
It wasn├óΓé¼Γäót until the end of the 3rd quarter that refs called a “meeting to discuss sportsmanship” at the 50-yard-line. The real meeting though was between a father and son who had gone far too long without seeing each other.
Tears were shed, both in the video and on our faces.

We’re sorry to say we heard some unfortunate remarks from some woman at the 1:14 mark, telling them to “get off the field!”
Um, ma’am? Do you have a heart the size of a flea, or something?!
