If we heard that Beyonc├â┬⌐ was going to drop a secret album ASAP, we wouldn’t have been able to contain ourselves!!
Even though Bey kept the whole record under wraps, Ryan Tedder, the producer of her single XO, found out about her decision to release the album just minutes before it happened!
The OneRepublic frontman spilled:
“I knew 90 minutes before it dropped. Ninety minutes. And I said nothing because I love Beyonc├â┬⌐ and I don’t want her to hate me.”
Good call, Ryan!
We wouldn’t want Queen Bey to hate us either!
The Counting Stars singer continued to say:
“I heard a rumor and then I didn’t say anything. I told my wife, ‘I think Beyonc├â┬⌐’s album is dropping in 90 minutes,’ and then I knew that ‘XO’ was on the album. I knew it was a single. I didn’t know if it was first or second. I didn’t know anything, and then today I found out that it was the lead.”
Goodness, so many last minute knowings!
We srsly can’t imagine all the feelings he was feeling when he found all that out! Then on top of that, to find out what the song he produced was Bey’s lead single??
Ryan must be elated! What a lucky man!
