This is shaping up to be the greatest year EVER for Veronica Mars fans!
Not only is Kristen Bell‘s crowd-sourced Mars movie set to hit theaters in just two months, but this week The CW announced another addition to the franchise:
A spin-off television show!
It’s going to air on The CW’s new digital network, CW Seed!
Network president Mark Pedowitz broke the brilliant news from the Television Critics Association winter press tour. He admitted:
├óΓé¼┼ôThe Veronica Mars movie got [this how] going. Rob Thomas is very excited about doing this at CW Seed.”
So, what will the show be like?
That’s still up in the air because the show-runner still “hasn├óΓé¼Γäót committed to any concept or characters yet.” Hmm, we hope there are at least a few cameos made by Ms. Mars herself!!!
Either way, we’re totally stoked for both the new show and the Veronica Mars movie which sneaks its way into theaters on March 14th.
