Lorde says she’s still only driving Cadillacs in her dreams because she’s STILL taking public transportation to get around!
Well, not always. We’re sure she didn’t take a city bus to get to the Grammys last night! But how cool would that be!
The seventeen-year-old songwriter says she’s not opposed to riding with the people though, despite all of her success. She recently explained how little her fame has changed her, saying:
“I feel like I catch public transportation slightly less than I did just because I’m on a strict time limit, which is nice. But I still do it quite a lot!├óΓé¼┬¥
So next time you’re riding the subway or the bus, keep an eye out for a brown-haired girl holding two Grammys and singing like woah!

Lorde also shared how her song Royals and Macklemore and Ryan Lewis’ song Thrift Shop seem to go hand-in-hand! They both made penny-pinching and a life of modesty majorly cool this year! Lorde admitted:
“It was a crazy thing. It did feel like those two songs were kind of kin to each other.├óΓé¼┬¥
