Well this is certainly unexpected!!
Russian pop duo t.A.T.u. will be reuniting for their first show since their 2011 split for the opening ceremony of the Sochi Winter Olympics!
If you’re wondering why this such an odd choice, it probably has something to do with certain Russian anti-gay propaganda laws, and well, have they seen the music video for All The Things She Said? We don’t want to spoil the surprise, but there are a lot of ladies kissing and feeling on each other in the rain!!
Unfortunately, their performance will NOT be broadcast internationally, but the Russian olympic team will make their grand entrance to the tune of Not Gonna Get Us!
We’re definitely surprised they would choose a band who’s covered gay and bisexual subject matter in their music, but who knows? Maybe it’s a sign of good things to come! We’ll try not to get our hopes up!
