Well, it was bound to happen.
Lupita Nyong’o has been a red carpet super star since she burst onto the scene, but this right here marks her very first flop.
The 12 Years A Slave actress chose a floral Christian Dior number for the Oscars Nominees Luncheon in Beverly Hills today, but it did not do her any favors.
The fit along the bodice was completely off, and the design itself was rather uninspired. The blue velvet Paul Andrew pumps didn’t work this time either!
Our heart weeps when we think of all the gorgeous dresses she must’ve rejected for this one!
