Bachelor Juan Pablo Proves He’s Not Homophobic By Announcing He Has Gay Family! Read His Last-Ditch Defense HERE!

The Bachelor star Juan Pablo Galavis is still trying to backpedal after making some seriously upsetting comments about gay people last month.
When asked if a gay dude would make a good Bachelor contestant, the American-born Venezuelan answered that ABC shouldn’t do a same-sex version of the reality series because gay people are, “more pervert.”
Um…wow. That’s about the most homophobic thing we’ve ever heard. But Juan Pablo chalked it up to a language misinterpretation!
He’s continuing on his apology tour, appearing on Good Morning America today. He wants his fans to know that he has no problem with gay people, since he has one in his own family!
Juan Pablo stated this morning:

“I have a cousin who is gay. His sister is a nun. So it├óΓé¼Γäós been around my house all my life. So, to me, it was a misunderstanding.├óΓé¼┬¥

He also reiterated that English isn’t his first language which is why he said what he said last month. Juan Pablo explained:

“It├óΓé¼Γäós been hard because, to me, when I speak English, it happened to me two months of filming, sometimes the words that I used were not interpreted the way that they should be interpreted, or I use a wrong word. It was a misuse of a word.├óΓé¼┬¥

Even if the word he used was wrong, the sentiment was still there! Blaming this hateful blunder on a language barrier or trying to come across as accepting because of a gay family member seem like WEAK defenses in our opinion!
