As we mentioned last week, Katie Holmes was spotted recently auditioning for another Broadway show, Finding Neverland – a musical!
Guess Mrs. Cruise wants to stay in NYC. But, now we find out she actually managed to get another gig.
Katie is set to star in the The Extra Man, a comedy flick.
The movie starts production in February in New York and will also star Kevin Kline, Paul Dano, and John C. Reilly.
The film is based on a novel by Jonathan Ames with Kline playing a failed playwright who decides to work as an escort for wealthy widows. He then develops a sort of mentor relationship with a troubled and aspiring playwright, played by Dano.
It doesn’t get warm in NYC until around April. Hopefully they’ll put a damn coat on Suri these remaining months!
