Jared Leto Just Compared Himself To Jesus Christ, But Was It A Screw Up Of Biblical Proportions?

Did you hear about Jared Leto‘s trip to ancient Jerusalem?
He walked into a hotel room, threw a handful of nails down on the counter, and said, “hey, could you put me up for a night?”
Whoops! That’s not right at all! That crucifixion joke was supposed to feature Jesus Christ (superstar!), but sometimes we mix them up!
Can you blame us, though? Both have long hair, both preach about helping the less fortunate, and both were founding members of Fight Club!
In fact, Jared invited the comparisons himself when he posted a side-by-side with the Biblical prophet yesterday on Instagram! Huh, we wonder why he didn’t save it for #SacrilegeSaturday? LOLz!!
Ok, so Jared explicitly captioned the pic “#NotComparingToChrist,” but that’s a bit like starting a sentence with “I’m not racist, but…” – it absolves one of nothing!!
We’re not saying the Oscar winner has developed a messiah complex or anything, but if he wears a crown of thorns to his next red carpet folks might begin to talk!
Is it possible Jared Leto and Jesus Christ are actually the same dude? Well, we can’t say we’ve ever seen them in the same room together!
