Guess Kim Kardashian buying all those copies herself didn’t really help much!
Even though initial reports were optimistic about the success of the Kimye Vogue issue, it looks like it’s really not going to sell nearly as much as people thought!
Josh Gary, the vice president at Mag Net Data, which tracks scales via scan data, said:
├óΓé¼┼ôThe trends for Kim K. are definitely better than the prior month with Rihanna, to the tune of 20 percent better. I├óΓé¼Γäód argue that if you peg last year├óΓé¼Γäós Michelle Obama at 269,000, this issue will net out around 250,000.”
So it will sell less than the Michelle Obama issue AND definitely less than the Beyoncé March 2013 issue (which sold 355,000 copies)!
We have a feeling Kimmy won’t be pleased to hear about this!
