Ellen DeGeneres is always doing so much good for people!
Whether it’s as simple as making us laugh during all of her shows, or providing a helping hand for those who need it, Ellen is awesome. Period.
So when she heard about single mother Tanya‘s story, she knew she had to do something — especially because Mother’s Day is coming up! What better timing??
Ellen had Tanya on her show and after watching a video about Tanya and her struggle, Ellen brought her up front.
She asked Tanya about her car situation, which is awful, and how she hasn’t been able to afford a full tank of gas in a long time.

Yup! But that was only the beginning! It’s in her name, which when translated, roughly means Ellen The Generous. LOLz!
