Justin Bieber is one step closer to scoring a hefty felony charge in his egging case.
That’s right, Perezcious readers, our lil’ Biebsy boy has another strike against him as the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department head who investigated the case has recommended that the case be prosecuted as a felony.
Lt. Dave Thompson has reportedly commented that since there was $20,000 worth of damage caused to the other house, the felony charge is plain and simple.
Thompson has also commented that the judge who signed off on the initial search warrant has also agreed that this should be pursued as a felony.
He added:
“I led a team of people into a house where there’s armed security. I wouldn’t have done that if this was just a misdemeanor case.”
Now, while the deputy D.A. who also investigated did apparently tell the victim that this was a felony case, it will be up to the top people at the D.A.’s office, including the D.A. on the case, Jackie Lacey.
But who knows…maybe the D.A. is a Belieber! LOLz!
